How does it work?

We match your cleaning requirements and other preferences to deliver a customised cleaning service. All you need to do is decide the number of hours you require on your budget (we can provide guidelines based on your situation) and what tasks and preferences you require covered in that time. We’ll then develop a time and schedule agreeable to you, organize the cleaner and ensure they turn up at the agreed time. For regular service arrangements we allocate the same cleaner on an ongoing basis so that the client and cleaner can built a friendly, and trusted relationship.

Payment is made directly to the cleaner by you immediately after each service unless prior arrangements have been made between yourself and Ajax management.

How do I book a service?

Complete the booking form. We’ll confirm arrangements and advise you of the name of your appointed cleaner and the scheduled first clean and ongoing timings. Our cleaner will then contact you prior to your scheduled service to confirm their arrival time and access details to your property.

What If I don’t know how many hours I need?

Contact us and we will provide a guideline or quote on the number of hours required based on the task requirements. For regular services our cleaners will after 1 clean be able to confirm the number of hours required to meet your requirements or will suggest possible adjustments to the time allowed. Alternately you can agree upon items to be cleaned on a rotation basis. Learn more on our services.

What about keys and access to my property?

Following booking confirmation our cleaner will contact you and advise details of their arrival time and confirm access to your property. Many clients are not home when the cleaner arrives and for convenience provide details of lock box safe codes or secret key locations. Our stringent recruitment policy ensures that your home is in safe hands with our team whilst unattended by yourself. 

Do I need to be home during the cleaning?

No. Our cleaners are provided with a brief of your requirements at time of booking, and they will ring you to confirm this and discuss your particular needs. However, we find that an initial meeting allows the cleaner to completely understand your requirements, and positions them to provide you with the best service.

What about pets and people being in the house whilst the cleaner is working?

We want pets and people in the house to be comfortable when the cleaner arrives and the cleaner will work around you to ensure that those at home can get on with their work and daily activities as normal. 

Our cleaners have a lot of experience in working around pets, and will decide with you the best option whilst the clean is being completed.

What about cleaning equipment and products?

Our team provide all equipment and products saving you the hassle of having to worry about buying cleaning supplies on an ongoing basis. Products carried by our team must be safe for biocycle and septic systems and are non-toxic. We take the time to understand if you have any allergies or issues that could restrict the use of some products, and this information is conveyed to our cleaners 

We understand many clients prefer to use a particular cleaning product or piece of equipment in their home, and our cleaners will in this situation use the products and equipment you supply and recommend.

What times are available?

We take into account your preferences and will schedule a service to accommodate your requests during normal weekly hours. Weekend services can be provided for some services, however surcharges may apply. Contact us for details

Will I get the same cleaner and consistency of service?

Yes.  For regular service clients we match the same cleaner to your service schedule so that an ongoing, friendly and trusted relationship can be built.

In the event that the cleaner is sick, on holidays or not able to provide service on your scheduled day we can provide a replacement.

How and when do I pay for service?

For regular service clients you pay the cleaner directly after the service provided. For initial cleans we recommend cash and after this you can set up an ongoing payment arrangement with your cleaner. Invoices and receipts can be provided by our team.

Payment for non-regular services will be agreed between Ajax Cleaning and yourself with payment required before or on the same day of service unless otherwise agreed.

What about safety, insurance and security in my home?

Our stringent recruitment and training process ensure that all our team are police checked and trained in the effective use of cleaning equipment and chemicals. This ensures that only trustworthy cleaners will be entering your home or property.

All cleaners employed by Ajax Cleaning are covered by Public Liability Insurance. This means that you and your home are protected from injury or damage in the unlikely event of cleaner’s negligence. What if I want to change my cleaner, requirements or schedule?

We provide regular client surveys and this information is reviewed to ensure our team are providing high standards of performance. If you are unhappy about the service or with your cleaner just contact us and we will rectify the issues and if required replace the cleaner with discretion and courtesy.

We provide a flexible service so if you want to change your schedule, days or requirements just contact us accordingly and we will address this. There are no contracts so you are free to adjust or change as required.
